Tell us something about you…
My name is Jamil Wilson. I was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. I’m currently living in Southern California. I would like to think of myself as an Aerial Photographer. I’ve always been a fan of photography, primarily of landscapes & cityscapes. I didn’t actually start taking photographs until early 2017 using my Galaxy S7. I recently transitioned from mobile to drone photography in early 2018. During my free time, I use my drone to capture a different perspective of our world and showcase it to the people who don’t see such things on a daily basis.
How’d you get into photography? Are you formally taught or self-taught?
My favorite place on our planet is New York City. Specifically the Brooklyn bridge park. It overlooks lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. The view is stunning.
Do you have any specific goals for your photography?
My only goal for my photography aspect at the moment is to travel to different places across the globe and capture more views for people to see.
Place you would love to visit?
One place I would love to visit is Santorini, Greece. I mean why not?!
