Photo of the Week | 9

It was our final day in Iceland and was thing was missing: I wanted to experience the DC3 plane wreck at night with a slim hope of sighting an aurora while there. The thing is that we were hours of driving away from this place. The night was cold and windy which was, in my opinion, the perfect conditions to try and go out as every single tourist were more likely to stay in their warm and cozy hotels. We took the road, drove for about 3 hours, parked the car and then started Hiking. An hour later, it was about 2 AM when we finally reached the plane. We were cold but there wasn’t a single human around. We set up the tripod, warmed ourselves a bit and then waited, waited and waited again until magic finally happened…
